CodeRunner is an action-packed, immersive experience, but it is important to remember at all times that it is a game and that staying safe is your most important mission.
ON YOUR MISSIONS
- Stay out of danger. All mission destinations can be regenerated. Regenerate until you get a location you feel safe visiting.
- No Rush. You’re not on a timer–all missions can be completed at your leisure. If you need to wait for a traffic signal, wait! Don’t try to rush through traffic!
- Report Inappropriate Drops. Playing CodeRunner should be safe and enjoyable. If you come across a drop that you think is inappropriate or unsafe, use the “Rate This Drop” feature to report it.
MAKING DEAD DROPS
Keep in mind some basic guidelines for making dead drops:
- Local laws always apply. If you want to leave a physical drop, be mindful of local laws and common courtesy.
- Do not deface property or trespass.
- Get permission. Do not leave a physical drop without the permission of the property owner (in the case of private property) or the agency or organization who manages the property (in the case of public property).
- Do not arouse suspicion. You’re a spy! Don’t loiter or draw unwanted attention. On top of making you a poor spy, it could also draw the attention of local authorities who shouldn’t have to be distracted by people playing a mobile game.
- If you’re not sure, don’t do it. If you’re not sure about leaving a drop somewhere, don’t do it. There are a lot of ways to make interesting and fun drops without leaving a physical drop and a lot of places where leaving a physical drop is appropriate and safe.
Be smart. Be respectful. Play safe!
